Welcome back to the Tres Jolie Kit Club Blog! Although it wasn’t intentional, I completed four projects this month! The rice paper I used here was misplaced at the beginning of the month, and was put away in the wrong spot! I think it statically adhered to the plastic of the Cards, Tags, and More Kit’s patterned paper. That being said, once I realized it was “missing,” I already had three projects completed, but I still had this rice paper, so I created a winter top hat!
This little hat stands approximately 3-3/4” tall and is made sturdy using some chicken wire “ribbon.” That’s the only way I know how to describe the wire!
On the front I used some ReneaBouquet’s Beautiful Board Snowflakes from my stash, sprayed with the two Lindy’s Gang Moon Shadow Mists from the kit, and attached them with some heavy gel medium!

Here you can see where I used some of the “Crazing” medium from the Tim Holtz collage medium set in this months kit on the outside of the hat, which I then sprayed with the “Gossamer Gold” Moon Shadow Mist!

Two other touches for this piece were two small cabochons for the “buttons” on the hat and some glitter ribbon around the base!
