Tres Jolie Kit Club–Christmas Journals!-December 2022 Scrapbooking Kit

Hey, y’all! The year is coming to a close, but that means a whole new year of Tres Jolie Kits to look forward to! YAY!!!

For my last project of 2022, I used this month’s Scrapbooking Kit – along with my stash of junk journaling materials – to create two Christmas journals. Each journal has envelopes, tuck-ins, flips, and loads of pages for journaling your Christmas thoughts and memories. And even though Christmas 2022 has passed, you can still create a memory journal while we are in that awkward time between Christmas and the New Year when it’s questionable if we are sure what day it is!!

Did you have a friend and/or family gathering? You could have everyone who attended write what they remembered about Christmas! Did people travel from various distances? Just send it around in the mail or have them write letters you can glue or clip to the pages!

Check out my overview video where I give some details of what went into these journals:

dec22-journals-sbkit-02 dec22-journals-sbkit-07

The two journals are very similar – it was just a matter of what signatures were added to which cover after I decided I had more than enough to create two journals. I used some canvas-type fabric on the covers, and some mulberry paper to cover the spines. On the journal with “Memo” on the cover, I inked the mulberry paper and added some ink splotches to the printables. For the closures, I just stitched together layers of ribbons and fabric scraps to create a wrap.

dec22-journals-sbkit-10 dec22-journals-sbkit-06

I digitally create some Christmas-themed end papers for my journals and attached them in a non-traditional way by either cutting or tearing the side that isn’t attached to the cover gluing it down to the first page of the journal.

dec22-journals-sbkit-04 dec22-journals-sbkit-03 dec22-journals-sbkit-13

For added texture and to fit with the “put together” and “vintage” style, I would just stitch my printables straight to the pages I wanted them on.

I used a few black tags from my stash and added some layers of the various papers from the Simple Stories papers in the kit, created tuck-in spots using some of the Simple Stories ephemera and backed a few of the cut apart Simple Stories cards with pieces of hanging file folder!

dec22-journals-sbkit-14 dec22-journals-sbkit-11 dec22-journals-sbkit-12

I have a variety of paper and pages throughout the journals created using patterned paper, printables, and some original vintage pages. I also created and added some homemade glassine using the method I learned from Nik the Booksmith. I also created a couple of Nik’s “Raggedy” inserts into the journals made up of a cardstock base and a variety of ephemera stitched and glued on.

dec22-journals-sbkit-05 dec22-journals-sbkit-09 sbKit-journal-sneak

I created my own vintage style, Christmas-themed labels to add in, and even decided I needed a custom Bookbinders Label to add to both journals. You can grab up a free printable with some Christmas-themed labels on them over on my Flickr!

Tres Jolie Kit Club–Grungy Journal-August 2022 Mood Board & Scrapbooking Kit

Hey, y’all! After much toil and trouble, I finally got this grungy journal put together! You see, mentally I have an order of operation for my projects – my first project of the month for Tres Jolie Kit Club focuses on the Cards, Tags, & More Kit, and my second project is for the mood board – this month ran a little different though because <gestures at everything>!

Anywho…I finally finished my mood board project! I’m GenX and that means I lived through Nirvana and weird metal jewelry and all things flannel, so I couldn’t help but get excited about the papers this month – Grunge Reinvented by 3 Quarter Designs.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-01

The general construction of this journal is like most junk journals, so my video focuses on how I put the cover together, a bit about the open spine, and some highlights on what is in the signatures.

Isn’t the mood board fabulous? Rust, film, watches – so much grungy and/or steampunk inspiration here! Make sure to join in this month and share your creation in the August Mood Board Folder by the end of the month.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-07 Aug22-GrungeJJ-05 Aug22-GrungeJJ-08

My cover consists of corrugated cardboard, chicken wire, chipboard, cardstock, decorative paper, and tons of mediums. I shaped my corrugated cardboard, dyed my white Artisan (linen blend) cardstock, added some Finnabair decorative paper to it, glued everything together, poked the ends of my chicken wire through so they wouldn’t stick out, and added layer upon layer of paints, stains, powders, and pastes to the cover until I got a color combination I was happy with.

I added some resin stars made with my Finnabair “Stars and Moons” mould, and coated them with some of the “Statue” Foundry Wax. I added multiple layers of embossing powder to the cardstock phrase and used the “Statue” Foundry Wax to create a “frame” around it. Then I used the “Sterling” Foundry Wax to create splatters on the cover and the phrase.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-10 Aug22-GrungeJJ-04

When I started this Grungy Journal, I didn’t know exactly how an open spine would work, and I wanted to make sure the herringbone binding had something sturdy to hang on to, so I used the metal hangers that I had removed from the hanging folders to wrap the binding around, then I used some JB Weld epoxy to really make sure it was a sturdy and solid attachment to the chipboard cover pieces.

I used a variety of alcohol inks and mixatives to stain my herringbone binding to grunge it up and found this “Exposed Tape Binding” open spine tutorial by Molly Brooks inspirational and very easy to follow along with (this was my first open spine!). However, because my signatures weren’t going to be evenly stacked – as seen in Molly’s tutorial – I added a single stitch through the herringbone binding to keep my signatures in place.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-06 Aug22-GrungeJJ-09

I used some sari silk to create my tie closure – sewing it as a tube, knoting one end and leaving a few inches unsewn so I could lay it flat between the chipboard and mixed media cover I created. While I did make sure there was a lot tucked in and glued down, as I kept working on my journal, I decided I wanted to reinforce the edges where the strain would be.

sketch sketch2

For the reinforcement, I folded the sari silk back on itself and added some E6000 and bookbinding tape.

Then I punch two holes through, making sure to go through the layers of sari silk, added some Chicago [style] screws (they look like the posts from traditional post-bound scrapbooks), and a couple of washers – with some more E6000 – to make sure I had a tight fit and some Loctite for the threads.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-15 Aug22-GrungeJJ-02 Aug22-GrungeJJ-11

With all the different junk journal tutorials available for construction, I am just going to highlight what can be found within my Grungy Journal. I have the standard variety of papers and envelopes, and I made clusters to use as decorations and/or tuck-in spots. For the button images from the cut-apart sheet, I used my awl to poke the thread holes out, then added some of the bookbinding thread I had cut off after I tied my signatures in place – and topped it with some Glossy Accents to create a faux enameled/epoxy surface. In fact, I added Glossy Accents to a lot of the cut-apart pieces to give them that faux surface, which really gives a sense of depth to the images!

For the chipboard filmstrips from the Grunge Reinvented collection, I layered up four different embossing powders. First I used some Lawn Fawn “Fake Tan” ink, added some Rocky Road & Ancient Amber Baked Textures, and while it was still hot and sticky I added more Rocky Road, melted that, added some Chunky Rust Baked Texture, and then finally some Rusty Hinge Embossing Glaze – always on top of the still hot previous layers.

For my clusters, tuck-ins, and pockets, I used a combination of glue, my tiny attacher, and stitching to put them together and attach them. When I did use the tiny attacher, I made sure the underside of the staples would be covered, that way they wouldn’t come out (as easily!) and there wouldn’t be any rough edges.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-12 Aug22-GrungeJJ-17

I used a combination of papers from the scrapbooking kit, papers from my stash, and even pieces from the hanging folders that had been cut off when I was cutting them down to size.

I have a variety of textures throughout the journal – using paper doilies, vintage crocheted squares, stitching, and a variety of fibers and trims.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-16 Aug22-GrungeJJ-03

In addition to my tuck-in spots and pockets, I added in some envelopes and belly bands. I even have some pieces of grungy handmade paper in a few spots!

Aug22-GrungeJJ-13 Aug22-GrungeJJ-14

To make sure there was ample writing space, my middle signature is filled with papers that have no decorations, pockets, or tuck-in spots. I just stitched two pieces of sari silk together (they have light interfacing on them to give them a little stability) and ran the whole stack through my sewing machine before adding the holes for the bookbinding thread to attach it to the open spine.

Aug22-GrungeJJ-18

Thank you for joining me here in my corner. I hope you enjoyed this Grungy Junk Journal and it gave you some inspiration on what you can do with this month’s Scrapbooking Kit and some ideas on how to interpret this month’s mood board!

Tres Jolie Kit Club–June 2022 Mood Board-“Let Your Creativity Bloom” Junk Journal

Hey, y’all!

This week I turned the June Scrapbooking Kit from Tres Jolie Kit Club into a junk journal. The P13 papers and ephemera from their “Let Your Creativity Bloom” line had such beautiful colors – muted shades of pink and sage – and there was a photo of a book in this month’s mood board! What else would I think up for the challenge?!?!

I didn’t just put any old fabrics and papers together, I decided that to be extra messy, I needed to dye my fabrics exactly how I wanted and make my own (matching) paper – check out my video to see the process, or, if you want, you can just check out the flip-through.junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-01

On my cover, I layered up strips of fabric, so of the ones I dyed, some are scraps from my stash. I topped a part of one of the patterned papers with one of the Tres Jolie Chipboard pieces coated with some embossing powders, added a few of the flowers, and added some Distress Foundry Wax in “Sterling” as some accent color. Check out the video to see the process of my junk journal from start to finish!

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-02 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-03 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-05

This junk journal is thick! There are over 50 pages filled with lots of writing space, tuck-ins, and pockets – and a securely attached tie closure to keep it together.

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-06 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-26

On both the front and back covers I added a section of lace trim, lightly colored with Distress Oxides, as tuck in spots.

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-09 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-25

I turned envelopes into pockets, covered them with strips of fabric, and added closures to a couple of them – a zipper on one and a simple tie on another.

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-11 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-12 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-24

I have tuck-in spots throughout the journal made up of layers of papers and ephemera. I have even added in some old book pages from a 1935 History of English Literature book – I thought this book fit well with the overall “Creativity” theme.

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-07 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-10 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-13

I wanted to add a lot of texture and visual interest in this journal, so I have short pages, ledger papers, bits of fabric and lace, and tons of stitching in here. There is something to see and feel everywhere!

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-14 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-15

I turned this bit of patterned paper into a simple flip-up card using some lace as the hinge and adding a tab to the edge.

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-17 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-18

a sheet of patterned paper torn makes a wonderfully distressed pocket! And I just couldn’t bring myself to (fully) separate this stretch of flowers, I used the last bits of that particular lace to make hinges between four inch sections so it could be pulled out – and the image could stay together.

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-08 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-21

Old music sheets add a lovely aged touch while also making fabulous pockets. I even used the envelopes from the ephemera and tickets to create little tuck-in areas.

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-19 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-23

When I saw all that leftover dyed water from my fabrics, I couldn’t just let it go to waste, so I added scraps of paper and created my own custom-colored, dapple-edged sheets – either glued to decorated envelopes and pages, or straight into tuck spots to be written on (I suggest using markers, paint pens, or gel pens though, due to the uneven nature of handmade paper!)

junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-22 junkJournal-moodboard-jun22-20

I didn’t want to just simply cover my basic white envelopes, so I added fabric, lace, paper, and/or ephemera to create variety and interest. I used one of the Prima flower packs from the kit, and in addition to my cover decoration, I stitched flowers directly onto some of the tuck-ins.

As promised in the video, here is the “stitching guide” (I don’t know what else to call it!) for how I put my signatures in.

How I stitched in my signatures:

  • Out = from the inside –> out
  • In = from the outside –> in
  • First-Middle-Third = Signature from left to right
  • Top, Second, Middle, Fourth, Last = Hole, from top to bottom.

Tres Jolie Kit Club–Mini Junk Journal–April Cards, Tags, & More Kit

Hey, y’all! Welcome back to the Corner Scraps Blog!

For my fourth and final April, Tres Jolie Kit Club project I made a Mini Junk Journal using the Cards and Mixed Media Kits. I love mixing vintage and bright; “old” and “new;” and the muted tones of the 49 & Market Cards, Envelopes, and Tags in this month’s Cards, Tags, & More Kit were the perfect complement to the bright tones of the Dina Wakley Glossy Sprays in the Mixed Media Kit. Check out the video to see how this all went together!

Apr22-MiniJJ-30

My closure is a few layers of fabric and tulle with four large buttons added on and a section of a headband (unused!) sewn onto one end. I also added some simple hand stitches for a little extra interest.

Apr22-MiniJJ-29

Video:

Apr22-MiniJJ-28

Apr22-MiniJJ-01

I used some lightweight chipboard I found in my stash, the floral print from the packaging of the 49 & Market Card Kit, and some teal burlap-ish trim from my stash to create the cover of the journal. I then decorated it with the Tres Jolie Chipboard from the kit and some of the Dina Wakely Glossy Sprays.

These aren’t all of the pages in the journal – only about half – as examples of techniques I used in creating this project!

Apr22-MiniJJ-26

Apr22-MiniJJ-24

I created a few clusters made from bits of fabric and tulle, a tag from the 49 & Market Tag Pack, and a couple of fabric flowers. I used black thread in my sewing machine to stitch the layers together, then added some hand-stitched X’s and hand-stitched the button on. I then glued the clusters along one edge to use as tuck spots. I added a blanket stitch (sewing machine) along the majority of the pages to reinforce the edges and make sure the gel print papers and cardstock backing stayed together! (Even if I did use a lot of glue – I don’t like things coming apart!)

Apr22-MiniJJ-22

Apr22-MiniJJ-21

I didn’t close up the three sides of the envelope to make it, well, an envelope; instead, I left it so it could be all the way unfolded. Throughout the journal, I added in some wax seals – some on pages, some on paperclips.

Apr22-MiniJJ-17

Apr22-MiniJJ-16

Apr22-MiniJJ-13

Not every surface has gel printing on it! I did leave a few sides bare, plus the back of all of the tags – but most of the surfaces have glossy sprays on them, so to write in this journal I think a fine tip marker would work best.

Apr22-MiniJJ-11

On the tags, I used white thread, and instead of punching holes and adding the tag pulls, I crossed two staples from my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.

Apr22-MiniJJ-07

Apr22-MiniJJ-06

Lots of different patterns in this junk journal, but the bright Glossy Sprays work with their muted counterparts on the 49 & Market cards and envelopes – and to really tie it all together, I stuck to just using black and white thread.

Apr22-MiniJJ-04

Apr22-MiniJJ-02

From the front cover to the back cover there is a variety of patterns and colors. The fabric flowers worked fabulously during the gel plate printing process and made their way onto the finished product.

Apr22-MiniJJ-27

The spine of the journal has some scrap fabric, tulle, fabric flowers, and buttons from my stash on it. Like the other flowers throughout the journal, these flowers also have some Glossy Spray added to them.

Thank you for joining me here in my corner! I hope you enjoyed this project – and all of the projects this month – and they gave you some ideas of what you can do!

Tres Jolie Kit Club–“Carmen” Junk Journal–February 2022 Mood board

Hey, all! Welcome back to the Corner Scraps Blog!

This week I have my Tres Jolie Kit Club mood board inspired project for you – a junk journal using this month’s Scrapbooking Kit! I had an old book cover that I had altered a while ago, just waiting for the right papers to come along to make a junk journal, and the “Carmen” line from 13@rts (13 Arts) was the perfect fit! I really love the combination of the dark pink with the deep green that is in these papers.

Feb2022-Mdbrd-CarmenJJ-15

I didn’t make a “How to make a Junk Journal” video for this project—there are tons of how-to videos to be found on YouTube already—I just go over what I’m doing to help give you some ideas of how this month’s kit can be used. Check out my video to see my thought process!

I mixed up four different embossing powders (check the product list at the end of the post!) and added that mixture to the Tres Jolie Chipboard from the kit. I then added it as little tuck spots on the back cover and front page of the journal.

Feb2022-Mdbrd-CarmenJJ-12

Feb2022-Mdbrd-CarmenJJ-13

The spine of this cover was in pretty sad shape when I originally decided to do the alterations. I had to layer up some linen hinging tape and book binding tape to hold everything together again, and the outer layer still wanted to peel off – by the fabric and canvas layers I added to my junk journal gave this cover new life.

Feb2022-Mdbrd-CarmenJJ-10

In addition to the “Carmen” papers, I have some printables I created and some tea dyed papers I made in here. That music fabric in the above photo has one of the printables printed on it!

Some of the pages in my journal are dyed with various pink inks/sprays. I have stitching throughout, along with little tuck spots made from corners or layers of paper and fabric/lace. If I wasn’t using bits of the ephemera pack in stitched clusters, I layered them up on a page to add some interest and detail.

Feb2022-Mdbrd-CarmenJJ-04

Feb2022-Mdbrd-CarmenJJ-09

In addition to the ephemera pack for bits of detail, I used the cut apart page from the “Carmen” paper pad. After I cut out the piece I used, I distressed the edges with scissors and added some “Frayed Burlap” Distress Ink. I think one of my favorite things about junk journals is the freedom they give to the creative process. A lot of the time I would just grab up some of the bits and pieces and just start layering them up – without trying to think if it looked “right.” More often than not, NOT overthinking created easy and wonderful results!

Although I love the creative process of creating junk journals, they are journals! So I also make sure to leave lots of room for journaling – blank pages, tags, and lots of tucks and folds to hold loose bits.

Tres Jolie Kit Club–Autumn Journals-November 2021 Moodboard

Hey, all! Welcome back to my corner!

Today I’m bringing you two Autumn Journals I made using the 49 & Market papers and embellishments from this month’s scrapbooking kit for my moodboard inspired project for the Tres Jolie Kit Club. Autumn themes are one of my favorite themes! I love the colors and I love the crisp Autumn days.

FRAMED-20211109_105438

This project isn’t a step-by-step process, because that would be quite a lot of videos, and rather repetitive because there are tons of junk journal tutorials out, and I was 100% inspired by Kathleen Sundby . What I did is make video segments to go over what I was using, what my next steps were going to be, and finally the end result.

Video:

Nov21-Moodboard

Just look at this beautiful moodboard! The colors of Autumn are just gorgeous!

Here are a few photos of the journals, but the video is much more detailed! I would have had to take over 80 photos to get every page of both journals! Even though I used mostly the fabulous 49 & Market products from this month’s scrapbooking kit (with my junk journal stash!), I also have a couple of items from the Cards, Tags, & More Kit and one of the rust effect pastes from the Mixed Media Kit included!

FRAMED-20211109_105513

The junk journal with the green closure is slightly smaller of the two. I used a card base as my journal cover, then covered it with some 49 & Market cardstock.

FRAMED-20211109_105532

I have layers of bits of lace and fabric on my closures and even added in some pops of blue with some 4mm silk ribbon.

FRAMED-20211109_105613

A sample page from the center of the book. I have some printables in the journals (left page) that I was gifted. Almost every page has some decoration stitched on like you see on the right page above—using ephemera, fabrics, and/or laces.

FRAMED-20211109_105636

Look how thick this beauty is! So many places to write on and pockets to slip mementos in!

FRAMED-20211109_105725

This journal is a little larger—I used envelopes sandwiched between cardstock and paper to make this cover!

FRAMED-20211109_105715

The closure for this journal is also made up of many layers. I used my silk ribbon flowers and knots to hold the sari silk in place to showcase the gem!

FRAMED-20211109_105806

As seen on the chipboard mushroom, from this month’s Cards, Tags, & More Kit, I used the Burnt Sienna from the texture pastes found in this month’s Mixed Media in the journals! I found a way to use something from each kit in this month’s moodboard project!

FRAMED-20211109_105754

As you can see, this journal is just as think and filled with writing surfaces and pockets as the “smaller” journal.

Tres Jolie Kit Club–September 2021 Moodboard-Half Circle Journal

Hey, all! Welcome back to my corner!

This week I’m bringing you a half-circle journal I created using items from both the September Mixed Media Kit and Cards, Tags, & More Kit from Tres Jolie Kit Club –plus items from my stash. Below you will find some photos, this month’s moodboard, and two videos for this project (Part 1 is preparing and the cover work; Part 2 is assembly and finalizing!)

FRAMED-20210907_112918

I hadn’t originally even thought of doing a journal when I pulled out my circle canvas, but as I sat there staring at the canvas and the new “Circle Swirl” chipboard from Tres Jolie an idea began to take shape! Check out my videos to see how everything came together.

Now for a few close-ups:

FRAMED-20210907_113151

FRAMED-20210907_113207

I used my Tim Holtz Distress Crayons with a Heidi Swapp stencil. Sometimes adding the Crayon first and lifting through the stencil with a baby wipe; sometimes adding the Crayon through the stencil. I was able to layer my Crayon using some Krylon Workable Fixatif in-between.

FRAMED-20210907_113119

FRAMED-20210907_113248

I used the “Burnished Bronze” Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from the September Mixed Media Kit to add some shine to my spine and the “Circle Swirl” Tres Jolie Chipboard.

FRAMED-20210907_113402

I’ve been hoarding this lace for about three years, and I was finally able to bring myself to using it! I grabbed up my Linen Hinging Tape and just added it in a couple of places—almost like a page made of lace!

Here are a few photos of the inside:

FRAMED-20210907_113314

FRAMED-20210907_113548

I used some green masking paper to line the inside of the cover, and added some subtle Distress Crayon + Lattice Stenciling as well, using the same process as I did on the outside. The pink papers are from the Cards, Tags, & More Kit, I used some Kraft-stock from my stash for the pages and to back the pieces of ephemera.

FRAMED-20210907_113452

FRAMED-20210907_113520

I created a few mini-envelopes to add to my pages, leaving one side unattached so create a little pocket for some notecards I made using the same Kraft-stock as the pages, topped with the swirls from the “Circle Swirl” chipboard.

Thank-you for joining me here in my corner! I hope you enjoyed this Half-Circle Journal and it gave you some inspiration and ideas of what you can create using items from this month’s Mixed Media and Cards, Tags, & More Kits.

Tres Jolie Kit Club-June 2021 Cards, Tags, & More Kit-Art Journal

Hey, all! Welcome back to my little corner!

This week I’m bringing you an art journal I created for the Tres Jolie Kit Club using some of the papers and chipboard gears from this month’s Cards, Tags, & More Kit along with papers, some embellishments, and mediums from my stash.

20210504_100134-FRAMED

I absolutely loved the Sir Vagabond line from Stamperia, and I knew I’d have to make Sir Vagabond himself part of a cover as soon as I saw the paper pack! Check out my video to see how I put this art journal together.

Video:

20210504_100222-FRAMED 20210504_100254-FRAMED

For my pages I used some homemade tea dyed papers and some printed papers I’ve had for who knows how long! I also splattered the pages with some “Salvaged Patina” & “Aged Mahogany” Distress Oxide Sprays.

20210504_100242-FRAMED 20210504_100312-FRAMED

My art journal isn’t very think, so I only have two signatures in it. However, each signature has one sheet of the Stamperia paper included! The outer sheet for the first signature, and the center for the second signature.

20210504_100345-FRAMED

20210504_100333-FRAMED

On the front and back covers I used some heavy gel with two stencils for texture, added my Tres Jolie chipboard gears that I painted with “Steampunk Copper” Prima paint, and some roman numeral before adding the “Salvaged Patina” Distress Paint & some splatters. I backed Sir Vagabond with some chipboard and gave him a “new” moustache before adding him to the cover.

Tres Jolie Kit Club-July 2020 Cards, Tags, & More Kit

Hey, all! Welcome back to my blog!

Today I’m bringing you the junk journal I created using this month’s Cards, Tags, & More Kit from the Tres Jolie Kit Club. I had such a blast making this journal, and even though I didn’t originally intend to kill the kit, as I kept going it became a personal challenge to see if I could get everything in!

DSC_0064-FRAMED

For the video I put the flip-through in at the beginning, then followed it up with the process. I hope you take a peek at it and enjoy it! Below the video I have added a few photos of the finished journal.

Video:

DSC_0065-FRAMED DSC_0071-FRAMED

I used the new Tim Holtz color, “Speckled Egg,” throughout the journal. It went beautifully with the Stamperia papers that came in this months kit. For the resin pieces I used some of the “Speckled Egg” oxide and embossing glaze, and some “Gathered Twig” Distress Crayon.

I pieced together the smaller “left-over” pieces to cover the “manila” colored tags that came in the kit and added some string from my stash.

DSC_0078-FRAMED DSC_0089-FRAMED

I cut out the ATC sized cards from the paper and attached them to one side of the popcorn bag that came in my kit! (Your bag may be different) I turned the two music prints into envelopes and added them in, and peeking out of this one is a little notebook I made from the largest left-over piece I had and some standard notebook paper.

The final page and inside of the back cover, which contains a flip out.

I hope you enjoyed this project and had a chance to see my process video, most of it is sped up, but I do stop to explain in quite a few areas! Thank you for joining us here at Tres Jolie!
